About NailGrove
Hi, I am Emma
I started NailGrove because every nail tutorial I found either assumed I had a salon at home or skipped the parts that actually go wrong. I do my own nails at my kitchen table, and everything published here gets tested on my own hands first.
What you will find here
- Nail art tutorials that work with basic tools, not a professional kit
- At-home manicure and pedicure guides, step by step
- Nail care advice for weak, peeling or damaged nails
- Seasonal colour and design trends worth trying
- Gel, acrylic and dip powder explained in plain English
How I write
I am not a licensed nail technician, and I never pretend to be. I am someone who has spent years practising, ruining a lot of manicures, and figuring out what really makes polish last. Where a topic touches on health — infections, allergies, damaged nails — I say clearly when it is time to see a doctor or a professional instead.
Articles get updated when products or techniques change, and advertising is always clearly labelled. Nothing here is a substitute for advice from a dermatologist or licensed nail technician.
